Business Development Associate

We’re looking for someone with RFP bidding experience that can develop partnerships, close sales, and meet our revenue targets. Strong skills in writing, research and sales are required. This role is expected to spend roughly 50% of the time on business development and 50% on B2B sales. Ideal candidates will be competent in consultative selling techniques, RFP writing, and grant-writing, and have some e-learning industry knowledge. This is a part time position with a base hourly compensation + commission. Success in this role is evaluated by revenue growth as measured against monthly performance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end development of RFP responses, including identifying partners for subcontracting opportunities
  • Create custom service/SOW proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations for prospective clients
  • Conduct in-person and online meetings to gather client requirements
  • Prospecting, developing and executing strategies to identify and reach existing markets
  • Create reports that measure the growth of new business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Research centralized contracts and cultivate relationships with agencies and vendors
  • Update company CRM (Prosperworks) with new client and prospect information

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Related experience in B2B sales and business development
  • Excellent business writing, communication, phone and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with a record of overachieving sales quotas
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office and Web conferencing tools

Instructional Design / Consulting

Learning Solutions Manager

Digital learning professional with high attention to detail wanted for hybrid instructional design/project management role. This role will provide tactical and strategic instructional design support, including but not limited to research, curriculum and lesson plan development, content development, storyboarding and elearning course development, as well as play an integral role in the design and development of educational technologies. Formal teaching experience is helpful but not necessary. This role will also provide some administrative support.

You will need 1 or 2 examples of either elearning development work our content development for elearning, and demonstrated ability to develop pedagogically sound course outlines and course content with minimal supervision. Applicant must be equally comfortable developing content and storyboards as they are working with elearning authoring tools, and a willingness to learn new technologies they may not yet be familiar with.

Must have experience creating the following deliverables: syllabi, course outlines, matrices, assessments, design documents, audience analyses, and storyboards. Should be familiar with ADDIE methodology, Kirkpatrick Training Evaluation and Phillips’ ROI Methodology, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Gagne’s 9 Events, at a minimum.

As a small company with a commitment to excellence, we expect everyone to be open to wearing many hats, whether that is supporting on a client call or participating on a video shoot. It is essential for you to be of a mindset that no task is too great or too small. Attention to detail, organizational skills, creativity, adaptability, and writing skills are essential to success in this role. Some experience with web design and accessibility is also helpful.

Reva Digital offers a 30hr work week. This role will be split 50/50 split between billable and non-billable work.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop course outlines and content for a variety of domains depending on client requirements
  • Translate course outlines into instructional design storyboards detailing narration, interaction, text-on-screen and competency alignment
  • Develop SCORM and xAPI compliant elearning modules and animated videos
  • Manage client account and seek opportunities to provide value added services to grow existing accounts
  • Support business development through participating on prospect calls and providing details about our solutions and services
  • Blog about elearning industry topics, specifically learner experience design

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Master’s degree or certificate in instructional design, instructional technology or education, or:
  • Current enrollment in a degree-granting program in one of the above areas of study
  • Familiarity with anchored instruction theory, ADDIE methodology, and performance consulting
  • A portfolio of elearning course design work

Seasonal Intern

We’re looking for an intern to support our business development, technology and instructional design functions in a small, collaborative team environment. Build your resume in a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity take on high-impact projects. This is a great opportunity to learn about a variety of essential functions of a digital learning consultancy. Ideal candidates will be a current third-year undergrad to 1st year doctoral student in Educational Technology, Communication, Marketing, or Computer Science. Must be available to work 10 hours (on average) per week on-site for a 3 to 6 month period.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business development by researching grant opportunities
  • Support business development by researching leads and assist in the development of various types of contracts and proposals
  • Depending on area of study, will either assist instructional designers or web developers in project coordination

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and listening skills
  • Computer software competency, particularly with Microsoft Office, Google Enterprise Apps and Adobe Apps
  • Ability to work independently and track milestones and meet project quality expectations
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
