In 2008 we managed the development of the Discover Corner Kids website and in 2012 we led the redesign of their new website, which was built on the DotNetNuke platform. The goal was to get the client onto a new content management system with blogging and ecommerce capabilities. The main concern of this project was to ensure that the client maintained the authority pages it had built over the years. Major  contributions included extensive keyword research, content development, and ensuring that the new website implemented SEO best practices including proper titles and meta tags, canonicalization, rich snippets markup, social media voting, SEO URL structure, 301 redirects of unoptimized URLs to their new optimized URLs, alt and anchor text optimization, crawlable navigation, proper heading tag implementation and code structure.
